A disc golf fundraising event will be held at Pusch Ridge Golf course on Sunday Nov. 21, 2021. The course will be closed to the public for the day. The event (the 2021 Arizona State Championships Fundraiser 2.0 event) will feature 150-200 players that will be playing disc golf from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
This event is a precursor to the 2021 Arizona State Disc Golf Championships, which will be played on Pusch Ridge Dec. 3rd, 4th and 5th.
We encourage residents who live adjunct to the course to cheer the players on throughout the day.
Bringing special events like these to the Pusch course further reinforces the unique value they provide the Town of Oro Valley. Combined, these two events will contribute significantly to the course revenues and generate extra business for our neighboring small businesses. We all win when visitors spend money in town. This opportunity would not be possible without the continued work of Friends of Pusch Ridge. Thanks, again!

What is disc golf? Disc golf is played much like golf. Instead of a ball and clubs, though, players use a flying disc or Frisbee®. The sport was formalized in the 1970s and shares with golf the object of completing each hole in the fewest strokes (or, in the case of disc golf, fewest throws).
