Friends Launch 2022-23 Marketing Plan
After a highly successful 2021-22 golf season, the Board of the Friends of Pusch Ridge Golf (FOPRG) wants to assure the same if not more, tremendous success this year!
Over the summer, the Board worked hard to develop a comprehensive marketing plan for the upcoming golf season. Our plan is meant to augment Indigo Golf and the Town of Oro Valley’s own business and marketing plan. This aligns with our commitment to the Town to assist in promoting the course for play to make the course a viable town asset.
Our goal is to provide action steps that support the course’s theme of “FAST, FUN, and AFFORDABLE.”
The FOPRG marketing plan outlines five major goals:
Enhance Awareness to Increase Play
Help More Kids Have More Fun at Pusch Ridge
Enhance Online Presence
Enhance Pro Shop
Create a Positive Town Asset Perception of Pusch Ridge Golf via Community Outreach and Environmental Responsibility
We will promote a special “Hotel Guest Package” to hotels and resorts that includes 9 hole play, golf cart, rental clubs and a new sleeve of Callaway golf balls. Other target audiences include social media, online audiences, apartment dwellers, league players, charity, corporate, and hotel group golf tournaments and events.
We are also working with the Town and Indigo on other areas of concern, including water conversation projects, reduction of turf, and a possible mobility golf cart for disabled or mobility-challenged golfers.
