Friends of Pusch Ridge Golf Pre-Opening Event
We have exciting news - the Friends of Pusch Ridge Golf (FOPRG), the Town of Oro Valley, and Indigo Golf invite our Freinds to participate in a fun day of celebration at Pusch Ridge on October 30, 2021. This exclusive event is open to Friends of Pusch Ridge Golf ONLY. Be one of the very first to experience this beautiful and newly restored course before it opens to the public!
This event is not intended to be a fundraiser but a way to celebrate and demonstrate our strong support for the course to succeed and become a valuable asset for the Town of Oro Valley. Therefore the pricing for both golf and the luncheon noted below cover only our costs.
We hope to have a strong media blitz to help emphasis the course’s re-opening and importance to the community. We will be inviting local media outlets, Tucson and Oro Valley tourism leaders, and Oro Valley Town Council members and staff to join us.
Schedule of Events
2 Golf Scrambles - shotgun starts will be at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Each scramble is limited to 52 golfers. The $40 tournament entry includes a BBQ luncheon buffet.
Prizes for each scramble will include winning teams and contests for both the men and ladies for Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive. Plus, Indigo Golf will be hosting a putting contest during the day for golfers and non-golfers!
BBQ Luncheon Buffet
The social luncheon will be held at the Last Territory (adjacent to the El Conquistador Resort) from 12 noon - 1:30 p.m.
Don’t play golf but want to join in on the festivities? All Friends are welcome to join us for a delicious Western BBQ luncheon! The luncheon is open for both tournament players and Friends who do not play. The cost for only the buffet lunch is $25. A cash bar will be available to all throughout the luncheon.

Show your support during and after the Grand Pre-Opening by purchasing a custom embroidered Friends of Pusch Ridge Golf hat. They are $25 each and can be added to your event registration.
Interested in donating a PRIZE?
Prizes are needed for the contests and other events during the day. Local business partners are already stepping up but we can always use more. Other prize ideas might be gift baskets (wine, food items, etc.), gift cards, golf accessories, etc. We hope to have a fun, free raffle during the luncheon if we have enough donations. Thank you!

A Reminder
Make sure to sign up for Troon Rewards. (Indigo is using this reward system because, in January 2021, Troon acquired Indigo Golf.)
All golfers who sign up will be eligible to earn Troon Rewards Points by playing Pusch Ridge. 1 point per $1 spent on greens fees and merchandise. Points may be used for Free Rounds of Golf when thresholds are attained. Details and signup at TroonRewards.com
