The temperatures are dropping in Oro Valley
The Pusch Ridge Golf Course has new leveled tee boxes
Overseeding is in progress on the fairways
The club house grounds are receiving a makeover
And we are having TWO kick off events on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023!
Morning Event: We will be hosting a Hospitality Industry Golf Open House on the course in the morning from 8:30am – 12:00pm. Invitations will be delivered to local hotels and resorts in our area with a goal to familiarize these valued team members with the course and encourage them to send guests to Pusch Ridge Golf Course. We need a few more volunteers to help with this morning’s event. Let us know if you are interested in helping. Contact: lisaedangelo@gmail.com
Afternoon Tournament: The shotgun will start at 1:30pm to celebrate the course's opening for the 2023-2024 season. Space is limited to 52 golfers. For those of you who do not plan to play please contact Carolyn Weinig if you would like to volunteer: cweinig@icloud.com
There will be a cocktail party after the shotgun – featuring a delicious and beautiful “Grazing Table” prepared by Jill Johnson Oleary, owner of Fig + Feta. A true gourmet delight full of exotic cheeses, meats, fruits, breads and other surprises. Zach Olfers, manager of the Overlook Restaurant will serve as our bartender!
During the cocktail party, awards for best foursome, long drives and closest to the pin for men and women will be presented. But wait there’s more…..
Mulligan sales will be available before we tee off for only $5.00 each.
Once again, you can donate a few bucks to have a Golf Pro drive your ball on hole number three.
This year's tournament theme is celebrating the songs of Jimmy Buffet and all of the parrot heads out there. So wear your best tropical shirt and come prepared to join in the fun when we dance to “Fins..” As Jimmy would say – “Bubbles Up”
Costs:
$47.00 for golf, which includes a cart, tee prizes, cocktail party and one drink ticket
$25.00 for the cocktail party and one drink ticket.
